Colour is what transforms a functional candle into a finished, sellable product — and choosing the right colourant for your wax type makes all the difference to the result. Our candle colour collection currently offers makers two key options, each suited to specific applications.

Pigments — a reliable, versatile colouring solution suitable for use across most wax types, delivering consistent, opaque colour in finished candles. Pigments blend evenly into melted wax and are a practical choice for solid and container candle production.

Micas — best suited for use in gel wax candles only, micas bring a shimmer and luminosity to finished product that pigments cannot replicate. Their reflective quality is particularly effective in clear gel formats where light passes through the finished candle, showcasing the sparkle to full effect.

Using micas in standard opaque waxes is not recommended, as the shimmer effect will not carry through to the finished product.
